Halos success leads to the global interest in Paramount+

Aurela was one of the most anticipated exclusive for Paramount+, and the series has helped generate global interest in the transmission service. According to a new variety report, aureola has exceeded expectations in several markets, including Latin America, which has resulted in a record rhythm of subscriptions. The spectators also keep the series to the final episode. Aurela has already been renewed for a second season, so this particular statistic is a good omen for the future of the series. David Nevins, Original Content Director with a script from Paramount+, believes that the mature issues of the program have played a role in that success.

It has a political vision of the world that people take advantage and relate, Nevins told Variety. For science fiction, it has a political sophistication that is resonating in these times.

Aureola has become the second largest original Paramount+series, behind 1883. Currently, Paramount+ is not available in all markets, but Xbox’s adaptation has graduated for networks in areas such as Japan and France. Of course, it is no more than Halo to have been an important video game property for more than 20 years. Although the Halo brand has been strengthened since 2001, Kiki Wolfkill of 343 Industries believes that there is the opportunity to create strong ties between the program and the games.

It’s wonderful to have both running together to lean on each other, Wolfkill told Variety. «We always want to recognize when [viewers] see the program that is halo. And we will continue adding content to the game that reflects the things we see in the program ».

It remains to be seen how this type of synergy will work in games such as Halo Infinito, but clearly the success of the program presents an opportunity for Xbox and Paramount. Video game adaptations are having a rebirth at this time, and aurela is one of several examples of this trend. It remains to be seen if the second season of the program will have the same success, but clearly aureola is resonating with a large number of spectators at this time.
